Net return chains the result of every closed trade; deposits and withdrawals never count as profit. The largest drop is measured on closed trades (balance), so it can be smaller than the dip in equity while trades are open. A few weeks of results say little about the long run. How the numbers are calculated.
How the numbers are calculated
- Reporting period: from the tracking start date shown above to the last data update. Earlier history of the account is not counted; its balance on the start date is the starting balance.
- Net return chains the % result of each closed trade (time-weighted), so deposits and withdrawals never count as profit. Profit in money = balance − starting balance − deposits + withdrawals.
- Largest drop is the deepest fall of that chained return from its previous high, on closed trades only (balance). Losses of open trades are not in it, so the dip in equity can be deeper. A precise equity drawdown would need continuous equity history, which this page does not have yet.
- Open trades show the market, the direction and the floating profit or loss (equity − balance, including swaps). Entry price and stop are shown once the trade has closed, with its result.
- Data frequency: the terminal is read every 5 minutes. Times are broker server time unless marked UTC. When updates stop for more than 20 minutes the page says so instead of showing “live”.
- Backtests are shown separately below and never mixed into the tracked record.
Tracked vs backtested
Tracked account
Backtest
Backtest setup: MetaTrader 5 Strategy Tester, the broker's own price history, 1-minute OHLC modelling (not real ticks), 100,000 USD start. A backtest is not tracked trading, and past results do not guarantee future ones. All three presets: how Giza works.
